Since early in my middle school years, my dream was to attend college. I wanted to get a good education and pursue my passion for track and field. At the time, it was just a dream; I did not have a conscious plan of action that would allow my dreams to become reality. I worked hard in the classroom simply because I wanted to be successful and because my parents demanded academic excellence. I pursued track and field because I had demonstrated some early talent and I definitely had the passion to compete.
HIGH JUMP

As time passed, I changed; my dreams became my goals. With the help of my parents, teachers and coaches, I created a game plan that channeled my energies in the right direction. I added action steps that would allow me to excel in my chosen fields. I became more focused. As a result, I have become somewhat accomplished as both a student and as an athlete. I am pleased with my progress in both the classroom and in the athletic arena.
TRIPLE AND LONG JUMP

Currently, I am a senior in high school. While I am still enjoying the experience of being in school, my focus is to gain admission to either a Division I or a Division II college. I am seeking an institution that demands both academic and athletic excellence. This will assist me in pursuing my dual goals of obtaining a degree in business administration and of maximizing my potential as a track and field athlete.
